After a year of hard work to learn through the imitation of early recorings, and to recording videos for our Romantic Lab project, Artem and I join other colleagues who are interested in this approach for a residency in Paris through La Nouvelle Athènes.
Three meetings are organized to exchange ideas and experiment, as well as presenting the result of our work in various settings: masterclasses and lectures at the CRR in Paris, concerts in Salle Reid and Salle Cortot.
Core members of the meeting:
Octavie Dostaler-Lalonde, cello (Independent artist-researcher, Amsterdam and Montreal)
Artem Belogurov, fortepiano (Conservatory of Utrecht)
Laura Granero, fortepiano (Independent artist-researcher, Madrid and Basel)
Aldo Mata, cello (Conservatory of Seville)
Sebastian Bausch, organ and fortepiano (Bern University of the Arts)
Johannes Gebauer, violin (Bern University of the Arts)
Clive Brown (University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Joseph Haydn Institut für Kammermusik, University of Leeds, School of Music)
Neal Peres da Costa, fortepiano (University of Sidney)
Edoardo Torbianelli, fortepiano (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Bern University of the Arts, Université Paris-Sorbonne)
